Questions before booking

Clear answers before the appointment.

These answers help you prepare, but document-specific questions should be confirmed with the receiving party or an attorney when legal interpretation is needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Open each question for a direct answer.

What identification should I bring?

Bring valid, current government-issued photo identification. If the ID is expired, damaged, missing, or does not match the document name well, ask before scheduling.

Can I sign before the notary arrives?

Usually no. Many notarizations require the signer to sign in the notary's presence. Keep the document unsigned unless the document issuer gives different instructions.

Can Stephanie tell me which document I need?

No. A notary cannot choose documents, draft language, or provide legal advice. Stephanie can notarize eligible documents and explain appointment requirements.

Do I need witnesses?

Some documents require witnesses and some do not. Check the document instructions or receiving party before the appointment. If witnesses are needed, confirm whether they can be provided by you or must meet special requirements.

Are online notarizations always accepted?

No. Online notarization depends on document type, signer location, platform requirements, and whether the receiving party accepts remote notarization.

Can Stephanie meet at a hospital or care facility?

Mobile appointments may be possible if the facility allows it and the signer is alert, willing, and able to communicate. Facility rules, parking, visitor access, and witness needs should be confirmed first.

What should I send when requesting an appointment?

Send your name, phone number, document type, number of signers, preferred date/time, location or online preference, and whether witnesses are required.

What if I am under a tight deadline?

Call +1 (816) 582-0056 first. Phone contact is the fastest way to confirm availability and identify any document issues before time is lost.

Still Unsure?

Call or send the booking form. Stephanie can help you identify the appointment format and preparation steps, while legal document decisions remain with you, the receiving party, or your attorney.
